In recent years, soft computing is playing a prominent role in finding optimal and sustainable solutions, where it deals with uncertainty, imprecision, and approximation to leverage robust and optimal solutions into existence. Soft computing is emerging as a combinational paradigm by integrating a set of methodologies and techniques such as artificial neural networks, fuzzy logic, fuzzy neural networks, expert systems, and genetic algorithms that are commonly used to build intelligent, automated and secured systems. Nevertheless, this 3rd International Conference on Soft Computing for Security Applications [ICSCS 2023] will offers a wide area by covering all domains of soft computing. The journal invites the findings and research work related to the application of soft computing techniques for security, optimization, and decision support. The main aim of ICSCS 2023 is to promote Soft Computing [SC] techniques such as fuzzy logic, neural network, support vector machines, evolutionary computation, machine learning and probabilistic reasoning to solve various real-time challenges.

Dhirajlal Gandhi College of Technology (DGCT) was established in the year 2011 with a mission of creating conducive learning environment, where the students can explore new frontiers and expand their horizons enriched with professional ethics, values and can enhance their knowledge to participate in the challenges of advanced engineering fields and can make them as a good professional.

The Institution has one of the best infrastructure facilities for an engineering college which facilitates the wholesome growth of students. DGCT boasts of 10.18 acres of lush green campus on Salem-Bangalore highway, near the Salem Airport providing the right ambience for students to pursue high level of technical education. The calm, serene and tranquil environment invigorates the mind and provide peaceful learning environment.

The infrastructural facilities are the means for Academic Excellence, Research, and Entrepreneurship development and learning advanced technologies. It has always been one of the significant advantages of the institution. The college is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. DGCT received Nil Deficiency Report (NDR) for the past five years from the Anna University and AICTE since its inception.

DGCT has a strong vision and mission to meet the challenges of dynamically changing global needs. The Institution has Seven under graduate courses and Four post graduate courses in Engineering and Technology with the current student strength of 2191. The Institute has 168 faculty members and with the sanctioned intake of 540 students. The institute boasts of student staff ratio of 1: 13.04.The whole campus is connected with 60Mbps Internet (Wi-Fi) facility.

Visionary leadership, guidance and support provided by the Management, innovative efforts made by the faculty members, staff, stakeholders and optimistic students contribute to the achievement of the institution.

DGCT has established the quality culture in teaching learning and administrative processes through the sustenance measures and Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), which has been established for monitoring the quality of all the departmental activity periodically.


To improve the quality of human life through multi-disciplinary programs in Engineering, architecture and management that are internationally recognized and would facilitate research work to incorporate social economical and environmental development.
